Instructions for Fruit and Flower Sales

Dates

  1. Sale begins Wednesday, October 18th and ends Tuesday night, November 7th.
  2. Return all required forms, checks and cash prior to the beginning of first period on Wednesday, November 8th in the envelope provided. 
  3. Fruit delivery date is Wednesday, December 6th.
  4. Flower delivery date is Thursday, December 7th.

Money

  1. All money is due on Wednesday November 9th when envelopes are collected prior to first period
  2. Please make sure you put your students name in the MEMO area of any check you receive
  3. Make all checks payable to LRHS Bands Club
  4. DONATIONS – 90% WILL GO TO THE STUDENT ACCOUNT 10% WILL GO TO THE BANDS GENERAL FUND 

FLOWER Orders (delivered to LRHS on THURSDAY December 7th for you to take to customers)

  1. Print out this fantastic color flyer to show your customers. 
  2. Record all flower orders on the 2023 Holiday Season Plant Sale – Customer Flower Order form.
    • Include your customer’s address and telephone number
    • Record the customer’s check number or cash payment
    • Keep all order forms for delivery
  3. Summarize all plant sales and record on 2023 Holiday Season Plant Sale – Summary Sheet.
    • Write your total Plant Sales (dollar amount) on the outside of the envelope.
    • Return all cash and checks and 2023 Holiday Season Plant Sale – Summary Sheet in the white envelope. 

FRUIT (delivered to LRHS on Wednesday, December 6th for you to take to customers)

  1. Only cash/check fruit sales should be written on the Fruit Sale Order Form on the back of the Fruit Flyer: page 2 and page 3.
    • Include the customer’s name, address and/or phone number on the order form
    • Record number of boxes purchased and payment for each customer
    • Record check # or cash payment
    • Carefully total orders on order form(s) both across and down.
    • Keep all Fruit order forms for delivery
  2. Summarize cash/check Fruit Sales on the front of the white envelope with the fruit summary.
    • Turn in checks and cash in the envelope.
    • Write the total dollar amount from the bottom right corner of the summary side on the line for Fruit Total on the back of the envelope. 

FRUIT – Online ordering (For Band Student Delivery OR Direct Shipping)

DO NOT INCLUDE ONLINE ORDERS on Summary or Fruit Order Form. Submit all online orders on www.FreshFruitOrder.org/LRHSBandsClub

  1. Local Customers may order & pay online with credit cards for Student Delivery. Customers MUST choose a band student’s name as seller before checking out. All online orders will be forwarded to the student sellers so they know to arrange pick up and delivery on December 6th
  2. Holiday Gift Shipping Items – Pee Jay’s ships fruit directly to Friends and Family who are not local. All online orders will be forwarded to student seller and profits are deposited into the student account.  
  3. Last day to make purchases on the website is 11/19/2023; the closing dates are stated on the website. 

ALL ENVELOPES MUST BE TURNED IN BY EVERY BAND STUDENT INCLUDING THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE ANY ORDERS ON WED, NOVEMBER 8TH PRIOR TO 1ST PERIOD
