The Leesville Road High School Band Festival Concert featuring the Intermediate Band, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band on Friday 10 Mar 23, starting at 7:00 PM in the Leesville Auditorium
UNIFORM:
FULL DRESS: Blue Coat, White Coat Belt, White Long Sleeve Shirt that fits!!… Blue Tie, White Pants, White Pants Belt, White Socks, and White Shoes. No cap.
EQUIPMENT:
Everyone takes care of his or her own instrument as in rehearsal.
MUSIC:
Star Spangled Banner, Children’s March, Yosemite Autumn, Abram’s Pursuit
MONEY:
No money will be needed. There will be a reception following the concert.

6:00……Studio Opens – Students arrive
6:30……Count-off in Band Room
6:31……Warm-up/Tune
6:55……Warm-up should be over. Make sure Livestream is working. Quietly watch.
7:00……Concert Begins (Intermediate Band, then Concert Band, then Symphonic Band)
8:30……Approximate End to the Concert
NOTE:
We will NOT be using risers during this concert.
*If you are in both Concert and Symphonic Band – please count-off and tune first with Symphonic and then join Concert Band in the Black Box.
Symphonic and Concert Band Students will be sitting in the band/black box to watch the Intermediate Band perform on the live stream. Concert will then go to the stage, while Intermediate will come back to the Black Box for Concert Band’s Performance. Make sure that after concert band’s final piece, that you line up in the back of the auditorium to march in. Percussion you need to be ready to QUICKLY switch the stage set-up. We will practice marching-in during Friday’s rehearsal.
Just a reminder you will only be allowed to purchase two tickets in advance for this concert. If there are any remaining tickets, they will be released on Thursday. We expect to sell out this concert. Tickets are $6.00 at GoFan.co.
After the concert has ended, we will need to make sure the stage, band room and blackbox are set-up for MS MPA.
