Instructions for the Performance of the LHS Symphonic Band at the 2023 Music Performance Adjudication (Contest) held at Apex High School on 29th of March 2023. This is the 27th State Contest for the Leesville Symphonic Band.

UNIFORM:
Please bring your A Uniform IN YOUR UNIFORM BAG to school on Wednesday! Blue Coat, White Coat Belt, White Long Sleeve Shirt that fits!…..Blue Tie, White Pants, White Pants Belt, White Socks, and White Shoes. No Cap.
EQUIPMENT:
We will need a list from the percussion section as to EVERYTHING we will be using – so that we don’t forget anything. Instruments will be placed in the trailer. Make sure we remove all of our percussion instruments, mutes, and folios off stage and back into the trailer after the performance. All other instruments will be packed as we leave. Also, please bring extra tuners…..with good batteries……we will need them!

You will not need any money. This performance is FREE and open to the public!!

It is our tradition at Leesville to take competition as a serious level of performance. To do this, we do not talk once we go to unload our instruments at the Apex High School until we go back to the bus. DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS,INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE GIVEN IF NEEDED…..This helps us FOCUS…… Inform your rides NOT TO PARK where the buses need to load and unload! Good Luck! Great combination of musicians and music! Do everything you can to Look Good, Sound Good and Make Common Sense! You have been working very hard and I hope the results will show that!!!!
