Good Evening Bands Club Families!
Welcome to another busy week for our Bands Club and all our ensembles. Can we just take a minute to talk about that WONDERFUL CONCERT last Friday? I really enjoyed each and every performance. Once again, I was impressed by how far each group has progressed since last fall. Thank you all for a terrific night of entertainment. Bravo Tutti!
Tonight’s edition of our Bands Club newsletter has more important updates about upcoming events. The fundraising committee, fresh off of their “Out-to-Eat” fundraiser tonight at Gonza (very delicious btw), has more news about a couple of more events. Our next Bands Club meeting will be on Tuesday, March 19th. Among other items, details about the Atlanta Spring Trip will be discussed. All parents of CB and SB band students will want to attend that upcoming meeting. MPA is happening over the next couple of weeks for all our ensembles. The instruction sheets and an urgent request for chaperones is included in tonight’s edition. Finally, an early invitiation from the ECU Bands Program about their Summer High School Band Day is included in tonight’s newsletter. This exciting opportunity is available to our students and is a great way to see what a college marching band program is all about. Our students are busy polishing their performances and I wish them all great success at their MPA events over the next couple of week. To all our Bands Club members, thank you for taking the time to read our newsletter and keep up to date with all our activities. Until next week…
